The Quiet Zone

In the mountains of West Virginia, Green Bank is an idyllic vintage paradise. It's a town defined by what isn't there... technology. Nestled within the National Radio Quiet Zone, smartphones, Wi-Fi, and unleaded gas engines are strictly forbidden by federal law. All is quiet... until the sky begins to fall. Just before dawn, brilliant, sparkling entities of pure energy descend upon the valley. They look like innocent children cloaked in starlight -- but their touch is a death sentence. Moving with relentless speed, the creatures of light and heat hunt the living, feed on the dead, and cook their victims from the inside out. As the borders of the town become sealed by a blinding inferno of fire and hate, a small band of survivors make a desperate stand at the Green Bank Observatory. Can a town built on silence find the voice to save humanity, or will they be consumed by an army of the damned?
