The Red Dress and Other Stories is a collection of eighteen stories, each of which highlights the theme of survival. Every character must find their own light, something within themselves that is able to transcend the despicable, or, at the very least, extremely painful circumstances that pervade our world, our relationships, and our societies. In these stories, hope prevails, going beyond courage to a place of love, where survival is met with a light that emerges from within. All the main characters are women, and the strength and resilience of women prevails in each piece.
