The Resilient Widows Trilogy

THE RIDGES TRILOGY Three men from the same area are locked in by ridges, physical and psychological, and on tragic afflictions of their loved ones; alcoholism, hatred and psychokinesis. When Ben discovers a fabulous spring that exudes wonderfully clear water from the ridge that encloses his valley, he is appalled to learn than those he loves prefer drinking something other than water-an affliction that permeates the entire family. Ted faces dysfunction from all sides, ever since he learned of his parents' hatred for each other, taking their wrath out on him. J.J. edits a magazine devoted to the supernatural, but doesn't believe a word he prints, until he returns, for the first time, to the home town of his youth, where he meets the seemingly innocent eight-year-old daughter of an old love. She now uses unrealized powers, inherited from her unexplainable ancestors, to wreak havoc on the industry that killed her grandfathers.
