The Resonance of Edinburgh: A Mystery Secrets, Faith, and Ancient Lines

Edinburgh keeps its secrets underground. When Anna Santos flees London for a quiet antiquarian bookshop in Stockbridge, she is only looking for somewhere the past cannot find her. Instead, a forgotten crate from a Fife estate pulls her into a hundred-and-thirty-year-old secret: a suppressed gospel, a hidden network of tunnels running beneath the Old Town, and a Society that has spent two centuries deciding who is allowed to know the truth. As the trail leads from a shop doorway on St Stephen Street to the crypt at Rosslyn Chapel, Anna discovers that the ground itself seems to recognize her, in ways she has felt before and never understood, long before she ever set foot in Scotland. A stranger from London wants what she has found. An old bookseller has been waiting eleven years for someone exactly like her. And a secret older than the chapel itself is about to decide which of them it will open its door to.A mystery of ley lines, an ancient anointing, and the quiet, stubborn faith that survives long after the proof runs out.Inspired by real places and real experience, The Resonance of Edinburgh moves between the closes of the Old Town, the harbour at Leith, and a village outside the city where the past has never quite finished arriving. For readers of atmospheric, spiritually curious mysteries in the tradition of The Da Vinci Code, this is a story about the difference between finding proof and finding home.
