Tired of being tired? Ready to move from surviving into thriving? If you want to break the cycle, then you are in the right place! God never intended for us to be stuck in cycles of striving, exhaustion, sickness, and burnout. Most of our daily experiences are far from what God has said He intended for us... "Come to me and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28 "My yoke is easy and my burden is light" Matthew 11:30 "I (the Lord) am with you and will give you rest" Exodus 33:14 "Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10 "In vain we strive; God is our provider" Psalm 147:2 "The Lord makes us lie down in green pastures, refreshes our souls, prepares a table for us, and fills our cup to overflowing" Psalm 23 There are many more verses, but I think you get my point. For years, I asked myself, "Where is this rest that the Bible talks about?" The older I got, the harder I strived and the more tired I became. I felt the weight of the world on my shoulders...UNTIL I asked God to teach me about His rest. Since then, I have been on a journey of exploring rest and finding deeper and deeper shalom for my whole being (body, soul, and spirit). I'm excited to share my journey with you, and hopefully, this book will help you feel empowered and equipped to pursue rest in your own life.
