Beethoven's symphonies occupy a prominent place amongst all his works. He composed nine symphonies, and when compared with those of Haydn and Mozart, there are differences in terms of structure, harmony, dynamics and instrumentation. This book explores these differences through an analysis and examination of the fourth movement of his final, or Ninth, Symphony.
