The Sacred Feminine: Reclaiming Her Divine Voice

According to the Book of Proverbs, she was present at the beginning of creation. Her words echoed through the pages of Scripture. She was known by many names throughout the ancient world. And then, slowly and deliberately, they tried to silence her.The Sacred Feminine: Reclaiming Her Divine Voice traces the long, largely untold history of the divine feminine. From the goddess traditions of antiquity to the Wisdom figure hidden in plain sight within the biblical text itself. Drawing on sacred texts, Gnostic writings, mystery traditions, and the testimony of mystics across centuries, this book reveals how the feminine face of the divine was suppressed, who suppressed it, and where it has quietly endured ever since. From Sophia and Chokmah to Asherah and Shekinah, her names changed. Her light remained. Her voice never died. This is not a rejection of faith. It is a restoration of it.For anyone who has sensed that something essential was missing from the spiritual story they were handed, this book may be the answer.
