The Santa Worshippers

It's Christmas and a female-empowerment group hides a disturbing cult where young women are sacrificed in bizarre rituals. The leader, dubbed Santa, has formed his cult pyramid as a festive hierarchy of elves and reindeer. For three years, Detective Sophia Ackrill has failed to crack the case. A by-the-books officer, she despairs when Detective Jen Thompson is dumped on her during a job-swap opportunity. Coming from a care-in-the-community department, Thompson dresses like a biker, talks back to the DCI and is incapable of following proper police procedure. Yet with a third failed year looming, Thompson provides a different perspective. Infiltrating the cult, the two women must put aside their mutual loathing if they hope to bring Santa's grotto crashing down around him. But with both detectives' outlooks on life still determined by their fathers' influence, it's not certain whether they have what it takes to defeat the only father who matters - Father Christmas.
