Students start acting strangely. People begin forgetting important memories. Hidden tunnels beneath the school reveal secrets that were buried decades ago. Determined to uncover the truth, eighth-grader Maya Hernandez and her friends find themselves caught in a mystery far bigger than a missing rule book. What they discover could change not only their school, but their entire city. As a long-forgotten experiment awakens and a dangerous choice approaches, Maya must answer a question that could affect everyone she knows: Is a perfect world worth losing the freedom to be yourself?
