The Shellycoat’s Mischief

Along the misty shores of Brackenwhistle Loch lives a creature of Scottish legend with shells on his coat, mischief in his grin, and absolutely no respect for other people's cupboards. The Shellycoat delights in playing tricks on the animals and villagers who live near the water. He swaps reflections in the loch, steals biscuits "for important reasons," rearranges furniture in the dead of night, and turns peaceful afternoons into splendid chaos. Poor Tam Water Vole is forever caught in the middle, while practical Morag Duck tries desperately to impose rules on a creature who treats rules as cheerful suggestions.Yet beneath the laughter, puddles, and confusion, something warmer stirs. Because whenever danger creeps close to Brackenwhistle Loch - a frightened family lost in the reeds, a trapped bird, a hidden threat beneath the water - the Shellycoat is always there first, clattering through the mist with another terrible idea that somehow saves the day.Perfect for readers who love cosy charm, The Shellycoat's Mischief is a heartwarming collection of twelve magical tales filled with friendship, folklore, laughter, and just the right amount of damp nonsense.
