The Silence of Hormuz II: Rebound Earth

Humanity changed the sea. Now the Earth is changing back. The Persian Gulf is rising from below.Seabed ridges break the surface. Tankers run aground where deep water existed only days earlier. Fault lines spread beyond every geological map. Entire coastlines tilt as accelerated isostatic rebound begins reshaping the region faster than science can explain it.Then a vast crescent of former seabed emerges-and the world rushes to claim it.Governments plant flags. Refugees gather along unstable shores. Soldiers patrol territory that may vanish tomorrow. Beneath the salt crust, archaeologists uncover ruins carrying echoes of ancient water rituals, while religious movements interpret the geological upheaval as prophecy.Inside the DAO responsible for transforming the Gulf, Ilya Mirov discovers that the system's models have failed. As the organization fractures between those demanding shutdown and those determined to accelerate the experiment, Ilya turns against the machine he helped create.High above, Harry Atkins and the Skyhome civilization abandon observation and descend to intervene. But atmospheric stabilization only adds another layer of instability. Then sensors detect something impossible.Water is moving deep beneath the Gulf-against expected pressure gradients.A hidden subsurface system is awakening.Soon, water begins rising from the ground itself. As seismic storms spread, salt-choked ecosystems collapse, ancient beliefs collide with modern data, and every attempt at control makes the crisis worse, humanity confronts a terrifying possibility: Earth was never a machine waiting to be managed. The Rebound of Earth, Book II of The Silence of Hormuz Trilogy, is an epic eco-science-fiction thriller about technological hubris, geological consequence, faith, survival, and a planet that refuses to ask permission.
