The Spirit That Shares: A Tale of Generosity and Abundance

True Generosity Always Returns, MultipliedIn a small African village, a kind widow with two children lives with little, sharing what little she has. When a weary traveler arrives at her door during a fierce storm, she welcomes him without hesitation, offering her small meal and warm fire. She doesn't know that this mysterious visitor is actually a wise elder testing the hearts of the villagers. Moved by her generosity born from compassion rather than abundance, the elder bestows a blessing: a magical garden that transforms their barren earth into a thriving paradise of fruits, vegetables, and abundance.Through watercolor-rich illustrations of an African village, The Spirit That Shares tells a timeless tale of how kindness and generosity create ripples of blessing that return to us multiplied. A story about sharing from the heart, trusting in goodness, and understanding that the generous spirit is never left wanting.Perfect for: Children ages 3-8 exploring generosity and kindness, African-centered folktales, and discussions about abundance, compassion, and community. From Pawa Seyni and Pawa Press.
