The Spiritual Journey of a Confused Man

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33 Yet sometimes we may find ourselves in a confused state of mind not knowing where to turn or what to do. This was the state I found myself when I started writing and reading my journal. I found that in addition to reading the bible, reading my journal brought peace to my heart and direction to my life. This is not a substitute to reading the bible! It was a means of reinforcing the truths that I already read in the bible. I invite any military man on deployment to read this journal, any father separated from his children, and any man or woman who feels they may have lost their way. I believe God will speak to your spirit as he spoke to mine and led me through some of the toughest situations and circumstances that I have encountered in my life.
