ST. CHARLES HOUSE is a three-story apartment house on 6th Street, a notorious party street in Austin. The owner, Emerson "Tuck" Tucker, won it in a weekly poker game at room 666 in the Driskill Hotel. Early one morning, one of his tenants either jumps or is thrown off the roof and is killed by sudden concrete contact. Austin PD wraps their case up and declares it a suicide. However, Tuck and his close group of friends don't buy their act. Not that they ever do. They start their own investigation and uncover other misgivings close to home in the process.
