I'm a small-town girl from New Mexico, and my friends and family affectionately call me Bethy! My family has deep roots here, dating back to the late 1600s when the Spanish settled the Americas. Many families, like mine, have been farming and living off the land for generations, embracing unique foods and delightful agricultural experiences that only a small town can offer. I love to daydream about the future-imagine leaving one day, and living in the city instead of covered in dust and dirt from farm life. A story of adolescence, a time of discovering identity, friendships, while meeting family expectations and achieving a personal goal. A daydreamer who fills her summer days with hopes and wishes for less work and more fun.
