Bol The state of human resources management in Africa has long been a concern for both academics and major organizations. Many studies agree that the state of human resources management in Africa has not changed over the past ten years and is characterized by poor workforce distribution, low pay, centralized personnel management with arbitrary hiring practices, and major organizational shortcomings driven by corruption and poor performance. Some researchers wonder whether HR management should be adapted to African cultures. In light of these challenges, I believe that the methodical and systematic use of values can serve as a potential solution to this managerial issue. I propose my approach to identifying categories of values using my Théane method and Djoser's formula for calculating the values index. This method is applicable across all cultures and has practical applications in management, as it enables the formalization of a company's shared values or the assessment of a candidate's suitability for hire.
