"The Story of Leif and Hailee" is a tale of passionate love when intimacy across racial boundaries was illegal. Leif, the young man, is a visitor from a land where racial prejudice and discrimination are considered debased notions associated with Hitler and concentration camps. Hailee, a young, beautiful, black woman, is raised where interracial love is branded as perverted and a crime against the superior white race.
