Adrián Soler, a successful true-crime podcast host, discovers the identity of "The Surgeon," a serial killer the police haven't been able to catch. Convinced that it's Marcos Vega, a corrupt plastic surgeon, and believing himself to be Nietzsche's "extraordinary man," Adrián kills him to save future lives. However, his perfect crime falls apart when Elena Rivas, a detective obsessed with the case, finds out. Elena doesn't arrest him; she blackmails him. She reveals that Marcos wasn't The Surgeon, but a man who was blackmailing her. Elena forces Adrián to find the real killer in exchange for not turning him over to the police. Adrián is punished by losing the ability to tell reality from manipulation. His Siberia is his own-fractured mind and, ultimately, a cell where he will bear the weight of crimes he didn't commit, but that morally belong to him because of his nature.
