The Stripe

What happens when you are born with something that makes you a little bit different? Do you embrace it or let it take over you? Through its lyrical rhymes, The Stripe shows kids and adults everywhere that you can be who you are no matter what. The official symbol in the U. S. for rare diseases is a zebra. Many people associate stripes with having a rare disease. This book was inspired by the author's two children with rare diseases and was written in honor of all who proudly show their stripes.
