The Struggle is Real: A Journey Toward Healing

Everyone has a story to tell. The version of their life that makes them who they are. The version they see themselves becoming because of and often in spite of life's circumstances. Life is messy. Life is hard. Life is impossible to navigate sometimes. This is the story of my messy, hard, and almost impossible navigation through what I call my life. So many things in life can make us bitter and hateful or worse. We can find ourselves in a place where we don't want to see the sun rise tomorrow because the pain is too heavy to bear another day. We all struggle. Our struggles are different, but they are our struggles. The struggle is real. This journey I found myself on was to find answers and peace and forgiveness and a way out of that perpetual feeling of unworthiness. In this journey, I found so many unexpected places of joy and direction and friendship. I found that through my journey through life, I was never really traveling this road alone. I learned I was still a somebody after two failed marriages. I have also learned to love who I am and only take the things into the future that add value to my life. We have the power of choice. We can choose to overcome or stay defeated. It's time to own your past and make it work in your favor. You are worth the time.
