The Sundown Man

In the dusty, sun-scorched town of Lorne Creek, peace is a fragile illusion. When notorious gunfighter Jack Lees rides in seeking redemption, he hands his weapons to Sheriff Tom Barker, hoping to trade his violent past for a quiet life. But the shadows of his former life are long, and they arrive in the form of Hal Ryan, a cold-blooded killer seeking a final reckoning.A single, explosive confrontation leaves three men dead-including the sheriff and an innocent child-triggering a spiral of suspicion and vengeance. As deputy Ben Ellaby pins on the star, he finds himself trapped between a mysterious murder, a grieving woman he loves, and the arrival of a second Ryan brother seeking blood. The Sundown Man is a gripping Western tale of honour, the heavy price of a reputation, and the inescapable cycle of the gun.
