The Tale of Ed Gar & Allan is a story about the end of a relationship and the uncertainty that follows. Ed Gar is a raven who was raised by Allan, a well-read pigeon. The story begins after Allan has said his final goodbyes and disappeared down a hole under a rotted tree. Unsure of how to move on, Ed Gar unwittingly ventures down his former friend’s hole, desperately searching for answers. With his head and heart full of doubt, Ed Gar begins a futile search for all he has lost. Along the way, he questions himself, his relationships, his sanity, and all that he doesn’t know. This time becomes the darkest period in his life. About the Author C.B. Ramsdell is no one special. He became sad and depressed, which led him to write a story. He hopes others will understand.
