The Theory Between Us: A Dominant Trans Woman and Man Academic Romance

They disagree about what makes a campus safe. In private, neither doubts who is in command. Dr. Camille Laurent has spent years proving that Ashford's reforms help transgender students find a place to belong. Dr. Gabriel Calder believes community networks - not elite universities - make Bellweather survivable. When a public debate forces them into a joint study, professional rivalry becomes a private surrender neither expected. But desire cannot settle their research dispute, and one careless claim could cost them the trust of the students they promised to protect. To build a future together, Camille and Gabriel must prove that submission can coexist with equality - and that love can survive the truth. The Theory Between Us is a high-heat T4T academic romance featuring a dominant Black trans heroine, a trans man who chooses submission, consensual D/s, rivals-to-lovers tension, research ethics, and a hard-won happily ever after.
