The Traffickers

When a fishing boat erupts in flames off the coast of Sicily, twenty-six lives are lost to the sea-and three strangers are forever changed.Roberto, a Coast Guard officer, pulls bodies from the water by day and drowns in their memory by night, his home life slowly eroded by the grief he carries. In Somalia, Fatima, a young mother with no choices left, clutches her infant son as she hands their fate to smugglers who promise safety but deliver only fear. And in Norway, Rolf, a journalist searching for truth, lands in Italy expecting to write a story - only to find himself entangled in one far more personal than he ever dreamed. The Traffickers is not just a tale of borders and boats, but of people, desperate journeys, impossible decisions and the thin line between hope and despair.
