The Truth of Shadows

Shadows aren't the only way to hide the truth. Life was hard enough for Alan Fontaine even before the shadow creature called Blot got her claws into him. Money was tight, there was never enough time in the day, and success seemed perpetually out of reach. With the arrival of Blot and her fellow Shades, things went from bad to worse. The pair have been the targets of cults, supernatural armies, and angelic overseers. But the worst foe of all has finally arisen: a billionaire ready and willing to make their lives hell until he gets what he wants. If Alan is going to make it out of this alive, he'll need an edge. With the help of Blot, his friend Officer Jessie Hearst, and an unlikely new ally, he's on a mission to uncover the past and gain the upper hand on the beings pulling his strings. Sometimes knowledge is the most dangerous weapon of all.
