The Vessel

Selah Monroe has spent her life dreaming of wheat fields, rushing rivers, a cold stone temple, and worshipful hands on her skin. She thinks the dreams are stress, trauma, or an overactive imagination. Then she receives an invitation to a secluded creative residency run by a private spiritual foundation. The men waiting for her already know her name. They are beautiful, attentive, and unnervingly devoted. Alistair Harrow calls himself a prophet. Rafael St. James guards the estate like a holy border. Isaiah Cross listens like he knows what she will say before she says it. Jianyu Zhao looks at her like he's loved her across lifetimes.Selah thinks she has walked into a retreat. She has actually walked into The Fourfold Vow, a cult devoted to resurrecting Ereshkava, the Daughter Who Returns. But Ereshkava cannot return through just any woman. She must be born through the same womb that first bore her.Selah is that womb.Selah is the sleeping mortal incarnation of Nammu-Serat, the Mother Beneath the Temple. And the four men carry the divided essence necessary to awaken her.
