The Way

Some encounters seem to be nothing more than the work of chance. A man walks alone by the side of a road, a car stops, a few words are exchanged, and life goes on... at least on the surface. Vincent does not yet know it, but on that night, by allowing this stranger into his car, he has crossed an invisible boundary. The man he will soon call "the Master" is no ordinary passenger. His gaze, his presence, his strange words open a breach within him that nothing will ever be able to close again. What do we truly know about life? What becomes of consciousness when the body disappears? Are the events we believe to be accidental really the product of chance, or do they obey a broader, more mysterious logic, one that our minds often refuse to acknowledge? In this story, Vincent is drawn, almost against his will, into an inner adventure where certainties begin to waver. Dreams feel like memories, shadows seem inhabited, the Moon reveals truths that daylight conceals, and every encounter appears to carry a message. A young girl appears on the road. The Master reappears where he should not be. In the heart of the Australian bush, a strange stone waits beneath the full Moon, as though guarding the secret of a world Vincent is not yet ready to understand. Between fascination and fear, curiosity and the urge to flee, Vincent moves toward a revelation that surpasses everything he thought he knew. He could turn back. He could forget. He could convince himself that it was all only a dream, an impression, an illusion of the mind. But some doors, once opened even slightly, never truly close again. And what if what we call reality were only a fragile veil laid over a much older truth?
