If you are an authoritarian of any kind, you will likely find much of the content here offensive. If you are a member (or supporter) of the MAGA-GOP juggernaut or any of its many psychotic sub-cults, you'd do well to simply return this book to the shelf and move on to some softer reading material that you don't have to question the authenticity of (King James, anyone?).Wordplay, the snotty literati call it. As if this were all just one gigantic parlor game. Any time anyone dares to tamper with the language, to bend the words (call it lexifl exion) in order to encompass meanings they've never before been commissioned to, they must be playing - right?
