The Wildman and Other Stories

Born in Rural South Australia well before the age of television, Richard was almost automatically a reader. He loved books. He loved words. There is no doubt in his mind that writing is a gift. It is humbling for him to realise at this stage of his life that he actually can write. He always could but just didn't. Stories just come to him. Show Richard a photo, or say a few words and he hears a story. Being well aware that any gift he has is for God and not just for himself is exciting. Some of his stories are Faith related. Some are not.Richard has now completed this book of twenty short stories, and hopes you like them. Some of them came from looking at a photograph, others came from a subject offered in the writing group Richard enjoys. Others, like the story of the old drover are true.
