Thanatos is the Greek god of death. Or Personification of Death. He is the son of Nyx and Erebus. His twin brother is Hypnos, god of sleep. He is a Chthonic deity, meaning he is from the Underworld. He is not an Olympian God. He is a primordial being that predates that Titans and Olympians. He is notably seen in the myths of Sisyphus and when Herakles wrestles him to save Alcestis. Thanatos is inevitable. In the end we all must face him. But there are a few who worship him and consider themselves his devotees. This book is a collection of poetry and prayers dedicated to the god of death. You may find you wish to use this in your own prayers, or simply to just read.
