The Wolf at Briarwood: An Original Supernatural Romance Novel: 1

The Wolf at Briarwood is a work of fiction, but it was shaped by a real conviction: forests are more than scenery. They hold memory, shelter, livelihood, mystery, and the accumulated life of generations. In Briarwood, I wanted the forest to feel like a character in its own right-not innocent or passive, but ancient, watchful, and worthy of reciprocity. Rowan and Elias's story asks what it means to belong to a place without believing that we own it. Their romance is built around a question that reaches beyond magic: can love make us braver, more accountable, and more willing to protect what cannot speak in the language of contracts and profit? The practices, folklore, institutions, corporations, and locations in this novel are invented for the story. They are not descriptions of any particular community, tradition, company, or forest. Still, the book was written with deep respect for the people who care for wild places, defend public lands, restore damaged habitats, and insist that a future worth having must include more than what can be extracted. Thank you for walking beneath Briarwood's branches. May you find a little wildness worth keeping.
