Burgravine Brynhild and her family, including Karl, Bigitte, and Alfred, has been invited by Princess Isabella to her 12th Night costume ball, but it soon becomes apparent that this isn't a simple holiday celebration. The princess desperately needs the lords of Augston to rule the country by council while her sons come of age so they can elect one of them as king, but the lords are tired of wars and empty thrones. What's more, someone has been sabotaging her castle, menacing her and her guards.
