THE WOMAN IN ROOM 17: A Psychological Thriller

A ROOM THAT DOESN'T EXIST. A WOMAN WHO SHOULD BE DEAD. A MEMORY THAT WAS NEVER MEANT TO RETURN. Elena "Wardy" Ward arrives at the isolated Blackwood Grand after receiving a message she cannot explain: DON'T COME BACK ALONE. She has no memory of ever staying at the hotel, yet everything about the place feels disturbingly familiar-the endless corridors, the locked doors, the recurring number 17, and the woman she keeps seeing walking through the shadows. There is only one problem: Blackwood Grand has no Room 17. When Wardy discovers an old photograph of herself standing outside that very door eleven years earlier, the mystery becomes personal. She finds her name in an old hotel register, uncovers evidence of a vanished woman named Emma Jackson, and discovers recordings suggesting that she once knew far more about Room 17 than she can remember. As she digs deeper, the truth becomes increasingly impossible to separate from deception. Emma may be alive. Harry, the psychologist who once treated Wardy, may have helped erase her memories. The hotel may have been hiding a secret psychological experiment. And someone has been watching Wardy for eleven years, waiting for her return. But the greatest revelation is yet to come: Wardy wasn't merely a victim of the experiment. She was part of it. Her memories were altered, her identity was reconstructed, and even her investigation may have been carefully designed. The people she trusts may have been manipulating her from the beginning. Now Wardy must enter Room 17 one final time and uncover what really happened at 2:17 a.m. Because sometimes the most dangerous mystery isn't who is lying to you-it's which version of yourself is telling the truth. THE WOMAN IN ROOM 17 is a cinematic psychological thriller filled with hidden identities, unreliable memories, secret experiments, buried guilt, shifting realities, and twists that force you to question everything you thought you knew. The door is waiting. And Wardy has finally remembered why she opened it.
