The Woro Code - 3 6 9

The Woro Code · 3 · 6 · 9 is an initiatory doctrine passed down from Manden-the Bambara and Mandinka cultural region of West Africa. It begins with a simple gesture: pour water, place the cola, and let the sign speak. Before any request, before any words, there is a rite of preparation. Water soothes. The earth receives. Cola guides.The number 3 denotes the three states of the cola stream: open, closed, mixed-three primal forms for reading the world without forcing it. The number 6 evokes the six paired openings of the human body: two eyes, two ears, two nostrils-perception before speech. The number 9 completes the whole: nine orifices, nine ways of being traversed by life. From perception to expression, from the body to transmission.This book does not claim to say everything. It chooses to say what can be said-with rigor, with respect, with the silences that are part of transmission. Some doors remain closed.
