Wormholes. Once inside you have to make the correct turns to get where you want to go. You see, it's not a straight shot but a web of possibilities. The crew of the Shadow Puppet accidentally takes a wrong turn. When they exit they see three ships in close proximity that should be blowing each other out of the sky. As they get more time to see what is happening they soon realize that these ships aren't engaged in battle as they should be. The HSP Canvern, a Morlapian ship, and a Splim ship. What!? Why are they not in battle? Why are they docked with one another? And why are their guns starting to turn towards us?
