The Yellow Scale

In a quiet world where everyone notices what stands out, one small creature carries a single glowing yellow scale bright, warm, and impossible to ignore.People gather. They point. They ask questions."Where did it come from?" "What does it mean?" "Tell us again."But while they focus on the scale, they miss something deeper the heart beneath it.The Yellow Scale is a poetic and visually rich story about identity, healing, and the quiet strength of becoming. As the creature learns to stop explaining its past and begins to protect its peace, the glow changes not disappearing, but softening into something more meaningful. When a child finally asks a different question, everything shifts. This gentle, thought-provoking picture book reminds readers of all ages that: - Not every story needs to be retold- Not every question deserves an answer- And who we are now matters more than where we've beenAt its core, The Yellow Scale is about learning to be seen not through what we've lived, but through who we've become.
