Some call him Thor, but his name is Matt Reed, and he is one busy guy these days. He is the barbershop's best employee, working hard and always looking for ways to help. In addition to that, he and his friends are practicing hard under the guidance of Coach Dan at the local YMCA to compete in the Special Olympics. One day, at practice, Coach Dan falls ill suddenly, and though terrified and worried, Matt takes charge to save the day, getting help to Coach as soon as he can. Matt and his father say a prayer for Coach Dan, but Matt wonders how and why God would let such a thing happen. Thor Goes to the Olympics is Matt's story of strength, growth, and the love and support of good people. About the Author Helen A. Warner is the mother of two adult daughters, Madelaine and Kaylie. She works full time as a nurse in St.Louis. She is active in her church where she volunteers with the special needs ministry.
