Threads and challenges: Educational trajectories of adult youth educators

This research focused on the training of educators in the field of adult and youth education, especially in the context of a school belonging to the Belo Horizonte Municipal Education Network (RME-BH). More specifically, it answered the following questions: What is the training trajectory of youth and adult educators at this school? How do educators enter the field of EJA? To what extent has pedagogical practice contributed and/or contributes to teacher training? What are the specificities of teaching work? What are the facilitating and hindering aspects of training for the development of teaching work? It is important to note that, in this investigation, in addition to capturing the paths taken by these teachers in their training processes, guidelines were also offered that may contribute to the advancement of discussions about the issue of teacher training in EJA.
