Three White Horses

Julia Phillips was ready to leave her hometown of Greenville, South Carolina behind when she moved to a tiny apartment with her childhood friend in New York City. It isn't long before Julia realizes how uncomfortable and loud the city can be. The smells, the noise, the people all cause her to question her move away from her beautiful hometown. That is, until she attends a birthday party at an apartment in Brooklyn. There, she meets a handsome Irish man who entices her to come visit Ireland. After much thought and debate, Julia decides to embark upon a solo journey overseas in search of herself and love. It's when she's overseas, hundreds of miles away from friends and family, that she receives news over the phone from her doctor, news that will change the course of her life forever. Through the next several months of arduous medical treatment, Julia questions her values, her strength, and her perception of the world.
