Bol Tide Collection is divided into two parts: Flood Tide and Ebb Tide. This edition includes only the Ebb Tide section, which consists of classical and modern-style poems written by Guo Moruo before 1949, including a few of his early works. The poems are arranged in reverse chronological order, from the most recent to the earliest. Most of them had not been published prior to the compilation of this collection. Some were selected by the author from his diaries, while the rest are works that appeared in various other writings but had never been included in any poetry collection.¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿Guo Moruo (1892-1978)Born Guo Kaizhen in Leshan, Sichuan Province, he also used the pen name Guo Dingtang.
