In the blink of an eye, Sofía goes from being an architect working in a prestigious Barcelona studio and living with her great love to feeling like a failure with a shattered heart. Between the worst days of her life and the rural hotel in Venaçon, an inhospitable village in the Alpes-Maritimes, there's only one question: "Why not?" Why not start over? Why not give herself the chance to be another Sofía? Unlikely tasked with managing the hotel's nonexistent check-ins, she soon befriends Ethan and Julien. Both will help her heal the wounds of her life in Barcelona and help her rediscover feelings and sensations she thought she'd forgotten. There, Sofía will experience days of discovery, of small joys in the form of fleeting glances and smiles, of excursions, of worrying about nothing. But punctuating these bright days, she also encounters a persistent sadness that could set everything in motion.
