As an educator and author of children's literature, I have been working for fifteen years with private institutions, international organizations, and government agencies on teacher training projects and the development of educational reform policies aimed at improving the Haitian education system. I am particularly interested in the issue of inclusivity in education-specifically, the recognition of the many different pathways to knowledge and the various factors that influence and promote it.
