Entrepreneurship is now one of the main drivers of economic dynamism at the international, national, and regional levels. In an environment characterized by increasing globalization, intensifying competition, and constant economic change, it plays a decisive role in strengthening the competitiveness of economies. In this context, fostering entrepreneurship emerges as a strategic response to strengthen the economic fabric through the creation of new businesses and the support of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which are the true pillars of growth and innovation. However, despite the numerous initiatives implemented and the progress made in understanding the entrepreneurial phenomenon, it remains complex and multidimensional. This complexity raises several fundamental questions, such as: to what extent is it possible to better explain the entrepreneurial phenomenon? These questions form the starting point for the discussion presented in this book.
