Tradition in Transition

Written in honour of Professor Roger Lonsdale, the 18 contributions to this text focus on the three main areas of scholarship: women writers; marginalized authors and texts; and the shape of the 18th-century canon. These eighteen essays represents a new generation of eighteenth-century scholarship.
