Transition

This paper examines the extent to which cooperation between kindergartens and primary schools exists in Austria and what problems could arise during the transition from kindergarten to primary school. In addition, developmental psychological aspects and skills that are essential for children starting school are discussed. Only through active cooperation can educational bridges be built and children be given a smooth transition.
