Tune to the God within You: Silence, Attention, and Art of Telling True Voice from Your Own

What if the deepest spiritual voice in your life is not the loudest one?We live surrounded by noise-notifications, opinions, ambition, fear, urgency, and the endless commentary of our own minds. Beneath all of it, many spiritual traditions have pointed toward something quieter: an inner ground of truth, conscience, love, and presence.Tune to the God within You is an invitation to become quiet enough to hear what is true-and wise enough to recognize when what you are hearing is merely yourself.Drawing from contemplative wisdom across Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, and other traditions, Tess Stewart explores the art of inner listening without abandoning discernment. The goal is not simply to "trust your inner voice." It is to learn which voice deserves your trust. This book explores: - Why silence can reveal what noise has been hiding- How fear, desire, shame, social approval, and the manufactured self can imitate spiritual guidance- How to distinguish conviction from shame- Why genuine inner guidance should be tested rather than blindly obeyed- The importance of contradiction, community, tradition, time, and the visible "fruit" of our choices- Practical approaches to meditation, attention, breathing, and contemplative practice- Why becoming spiritually attentive should make us more available to other people, not less- How to return to the practice when you fail, drift, or lose your way- A practical discernment protocol for applying these principles to real decisionsAt its heart, this is a book about tuning. The note is not something you manufacture. The work is learning to quiet the interference, recognize the reference pitch, and become the kind of person capable of hearing-and responding to-what is true. You do not need to become someone else. You need to become quiet enough to hear what is already there.
