Widowed and intending to be remembered for something, sixty-two-year-old B-movie actor, Irving Isaiah Hemlock, plans on living life on his terms. Never a famous actor, only someone in his last act, Irving finds recognition for a movie he did over decades ago that has become a cult classic, with a possible remake. Pulling out all the stops and ignoring his helicopter children, Irving buys an RV for his upcoming Comic Con conventions across the United States. Along the way, Irving encounters strange new people, finds he isn't too old for passion, reconnects with old friends and his past, and takes in two stray dogs who might outlive him.
