Two Kingdoms- Bound to the Vampire Knight

VioletI always knew I would fail miserably at my calling as a slayer. I'm smaller than average. Blood makes me queasy. Add in my dislike of violence, and I'm bound to be shunned by my kind. What I didn't expect was that they would sell me to the merciless vampire knight Nicholas "Nix" Stygian.NixBent on revenge for the disappearance of a family I vowed to protect, I buy, sight unseen, the slayer who allowed it to happen. Staying angry with her isn't easy. Punishing her is even worse. She looks at me with her amethyst eyes, and all I want to do is punish her in other ways.More than my punishment awaits the slayer. Danger comes for her in the form of another, even more dangerous creature. Can I willingly give her up to uphold my reputation and position as a Red Knight? Or will I scorch the world for her, risking the severing of century-old loyalties?
