Telkens wanneer ze een meerderheid hebben op een doodlopend pad, mogen ze bloemen wegleggen uit hun voorraad. De spelers die als eerste 13 bloemen afgelegd heeft, wint het Umbra Via spel!Hoe speel je Umbra Via?1) Leg 4 paden openEr ligt één centraal spelbord van 4x4 vakjes in het midden van de tafel. Aan het begin van iedere ronde worden er vier tegels met paden open gelegd naast het spelbord. De paden kunnen verschillende vormen hebben (een rechte lijn, een bocht of een T.).2) Trek blokjes en bied ermee op de padenDe spelers 3 trekken blokjes uit hun zak waarmee ze (in het geheim achter hun scherm) gaan bieden op één of meerdere tegels. Sommige blokjes hebben waarde 1, andere hebben waarde 2. Wanneer iedereen geboden heeft, worden de blokjes op de paden gelegd. Daarna nemen de spelers voor een tweede keer blokjes uit de zak en herhalen ze de geheime biedfase.3) Plaats de paden één voor één op het spelbordDe tegel waarop het minst geboden is, wordt als eerste op het centrale spelbord gelegd.
