Une fille sans histoire

A novel based on a real-life imposture. The day after the Paris shootings on 13 th November 2015, everyone hoping for news of loved ones is summoned to a temporary information centre at the École Militaire. Adèle, an ordinary single girl heard the screams and sirens in the night and at dawn she saw a face on her television screen: Matteo, a young man listed as dead, a smiling student whom she used to serve at the bar where she was a waitress. She immediately wants to know and understand what is going on, and heads for the École Militaire, where the family of the victims are gathering. Without any premeditation, she finds that within a few hours she has become Matteo's girlfriend, and the wheels of a deranged logic are set in motion. Constance Rivière has worked as an adviser at the Elysée Palace and helped the families of victims after the 2015 shootings. Une jeune fille sans histoire is her first novel.
